Chef Werner Degelmann started his culinary career more than 25 years ago. He completed his five year culinary training in his hometown of Vienna, Austria. In Europe he worked in exclusive ski- resorts, restaurants and 5-Star hotels, such as the Golden Tulip Barbizon Palace in Amsterdam.
Chef Werner has a passion for servicing guests and he loves cooking. Accompanied by his wife he moved to the Caribbean a few years ago to work as a private chef on yachts and at estates.
Here at Hawk’s Nest Resort & Marina on beautiful Cat Island, Werner is thrilled to offer the guests a choice of international dishes with a Caribbean flair.
In his spare time you will find him underwater with his camera or behind the computer.
