Our dive shop is located at our 28 slip marina, just feet away from Cat Tales our 43-foot custom dive boat designed specifically for your comfort while diving. This makes it an easy access to get to the boat with all of your gear. The Cat Tales is kept in excellent condition and meets all US Coast Guard requirements equipped with VHF, GPS, life jackets, water coolers, oxygen, and medic first aid kits.
The shop is loaded with new Sherwood equipment and Mares fins. Our rental equipment comes in all sizes that accommodate big and small. In our small but quaint retail area, we have masks and fish ID books, or you can purchase one of our new dive T-shirts. The shop is a comfortable and bright environment with air conditioning, video and PADI course materials which make the theory work in our classroom enjoyable.
We know you’re on vacation so it’s evident to us that you wish to obtain your diving certification in a relaxed but safe atmosphere. In regards to that, during open water certifications, we usually perform your confined water dives in the pool-like conditions of the pristine shallow waters of the Exuma Sound. This way, you can see the underwater world while you get comfortable with diving. Otherwise, we have a fresh water pool at our clubhouse that is also good for dive training. Skin diver to dive master, whichever you prefer, Dive Cat Island will ensure that you leave here a strong, knowledgeable diver no matter what skill level you choose.
If you would like to schedule diving via email, we require you to answer a few questions pertaining to your diving experiences. All divers must show their certification cards upon arrival.

DIVING RATES
PADI Discover SCUBA Diving
We offer the Discover Scuba Diving course for the beginner who just wants to “try it out”. You get to experience “real” diving which includes a confined and one shallow open water dive. It’s an enjoyable course for the whole family. If you then decide to continue, the payment will be credited to the cost of the Open Water Diver Course.
1-2 days, $150.
Daily Dive Trips (Standard Gratuity – 15%)
1 tank dive $70
2 tank dive $95
Equipment Rental
•BCD with Power Inflater – $10.
•Mask, Fins, Snorkel – $5.
•Wet Suit – $8.
•Regulator and octopus with pressure and depth gauge – $8.
•Full equipment package – $30.
There is a wash down outside the dive shop and dive gear can be stored in the shop overnight.
